In 1563 the Heidelberg Catechism was written. But, how many of us know about this important part of church history -- one of the great confessional documents of the Protestant Reformation -- and the characters that were involved in it's story?
"Book of Comfort: The Story of The Heidelberg Catechism" is a short film created as a celebration of the catechism's 450th Anniversary, in gratitude to God for His Providence (Psalms 77:11-14).

Section 1: The History of the Debate - Beginning with Augustine, Pelagian doctrine is clearly explained, as are Augustine's refutations. Attention next shifts to Luther's answers to Erasmus' emphasis on free will, then to the Synod of Dordt's reply to Arminius.
