Purpose:
The purpose of the I.L.P.B. is to make Reformed study aides available which assist and promote the study of Scripture.
Organization:
The ILPB is a non-profit organization operated by the Mens, Women's and Young People's Bible Study Groups of the American and Canadian Reformed Churches.
Activities:
The I.L.P.B. accomplishes it's stated purpose by:
- Commissioning and/or translating, editing, and publishing study aides written by members of the Canadian Reformed Churches or of churches with which it maintains ecclesiastical fellowship;
- Distributing and promoting the material it publishes through various congregational representatives.
- Scrutinizing and recommending study aides already available.
Standards:
All literature recommended and published by the I.L.P.B. must be faithful to the infallible Word of God and in accordance with the Three Forms of Unity, namely: The Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort.
